Today we wandered through
Rome’s narrow alleys lined with parked vespas. We call them alleys but in
reality they are incredibly narrow streets with tiny cars silently sneaking up
behind you before beeping their high toned horns. Startled, we hug the stone walls
and marvel at how traffic works here. We marvel at their narrow streets while
thinking how they would marvel at our vastness of highways. We cringed as the
vespas and bicycles zigged and zagged in between the cars and buses as we sped
along the streets in our taxi today.
One of the largest cars we've seen. :) |
