A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of telling a lie. To help you understand my sermon, I would like you all to read the seventeenth chapter of Mark."
The following Sunday, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many people had read Mark 17. Every hand went up.
The minister smiled and said, "Before I begin my sermon about the sin of lying, I would like to remind everyone that Mark only has sixteen chapters."
