Day 75

We are back from a quick trip to Omaha and Braylon is officially home! J Everyone is happy to be back in their own homes, safe and sound. Now that I’m home, it’s time to restock the cupboards and the fridge. I did make a quick stop tonight to get things for stir fry for tomorrow but I need to get my head back in the game and do a little planning for the rest of the week. Nothing elaborate, just REAL food that I know will satisfy my appetite.  I have to say again, it’s much harder to eat REAL food when you’re traveling and staying away from home. I’ve eaten a lot of Triscuits, fruit, and nuts lately and I’m reading to start cooking again.
I have 25 days left on this challenge and I’d like to know your thoughts and ideas on what I can do once I’ve reached the 100 day mark. New challenges? New goals? I know now, that I can tell a difference in how I feel because of the foods I eat. Eating REAL food makes me feel different – clearer.  ~ When I used to eat chips and salsa, I knew the next day my hands would be swollen. Really, anytime I’d eat high ingredient foods, I knew I’d be swollen and sluggish the next day. When I ate sweets, chocolate etc, I knew I’d have stomach issues the next day. At the time, I didn’t give it all that much thought. But now that I’ve actually felt the difference, I don’t want to go back to that. My night sweats have lessened and I don't know if it's from the change in the foods I eat or if it's just more changes in my body! Whatever it is, I'm grateful for it! So yes, I plan on continuing this way of eating and watching ingredients and reading labels. But I also want to push it to another level somehow. Give me your thoughts!

* Thought for the day *
When diet is wrong – medicine is of no use
When diet is correct – medicine is of no need.
