Challenge 2-Day 65

So… what should you believe?
* Listen to the news and you’ll hear that you shouldn’t eat eggs because they have too much cholesterol in them which is bad for you. Then months later you hear that eating eggs isn’t as bad as once thought. In fact- now the chickens are eating a better feed so their eggs actually have more nutrition in them. (Just heard that on the news a couple days ago!) ???? Makes me question what is in the ‘new’ food!!  *Eating a big breakfast will help you to eat less throughout the day – wait, maybe not.  *Milk does a body good, right? Wait – new studies are showing that Americans are one of the top consumers of dairy yet have an extremely high rate of bone fractures in comparison to other countries. *Then there are the low fat diets that have become so popular only to learn that it’s the type of fat we eat that is important not the amount of fat.  It’s no wonder people are confused!! We are bombarded with conflicting messages about health and nutrition.
*Thought for the day*
As you go through life you learn that if you don’t paddle your own canoe, you don’t move. J

  1. Amen! It is so confusing! You try to eat healthy and yes, there is so many conflicting reviews - so can the only thing that we eat be fruits and vegetables grown out of our own gardens? Looks like we aren't living through the winter!
