I found an article in the paper about “New York State Fair Unveils Donut Burger”. A quarter pound hamburger is served on a grilled glazed donut. Yep – I’m serious! Now that just sounds awful doesn’t it? Other foods featured at fairs include chocolate covered bacon on a stick – fried jelly beans – and a Koolickle (pickle soaked in Kool-Aid). And people wonder why they have stomach problems!!
