Can you eat REAL food while you’re traveling and staying in a hotel room? Yes

Is it difficult? Yes

Does it require planning? Yes

Did I get through the weekend without breaking my ‘rules’ for eating? No, I did not.

On Saturday, we left the hotel around 8:30 am, spent a couple hours at the children’s museum, ate an early lunch (where I had a baked potato with broccoli and onion which followed the ‘rules’), watched St. Pats girls bball game, and got back to hotel about 4:00 pm at which time Jaxon and Braylon went swimming. We all decided we may be pushing our luck if we expected the boys to sit still at a restaurant after such a long day, so we ordered pizza to be delivered to the hotel around 5:00 pm. Yes, I could have gone out and gotten myself a salad or some fruit or something else that met my ‘rules’ but I’ll be honest, I didn’t want to! So, I ate pizza. It was veggie pizza, does that count for anything?

I thought about starting my 100 day challenge over at day 1, but I’m not going to. I’m going to continue from here and keep following my ‘rules’. It’s all about becoming more aware of what we’re eating right?! And I’m certainly aware of what I’m eating so I’m pleased about that.

*thought for the day*

If you had the power to change your life for the better, would you use that power? You do indeed have that power, and it is in the thoughts you choose to think.
