The last few days have definitely had a chill in the air which makes me think                   ~soup~

Clam Chowder

1 pkg bacon - cooked crisp and crumbled
1 onion - chopped small
4 potatoes - chopped small
3 cans clams (reserve the juice)
1 bottle clam juice
1/2 stick butter
4 cartons 1/2 & 1/2

Combine the reserved juice from clams and the bottle of clam juice. Cook potoatoes, celery, bacon and onion in clam juice until potatoe is tender.
Add salt and pepper. 
Add butter and 1/2 & 1/2.
Thicken with 2 Tbsp flour and a bit of 1/2 & 1/2.
