When the Colorado grandsons are here they insist that I lay down with them at bedtime.
After lots of talking and giggling before finally quieting down, the 3 year old whispers to me:
"Grandma, I have a secret for you.... abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"
Followed by the 4 year old who whispers to me: "Grandma, I have a secret for you.... I'm not closing my eyes. Ever!"
Today I'm grateful for secrets.
